Thanks again, guys! Much appreciated!

...Sounds silly I know, but I have to admit it did turn out well.

I'd say that's a bit of an understatement, my friend! Thanks again for taking on this project and doing such an amazing job on it!

Very sweet guitar.

Ever since I handled and played a older guy's Pelham Blue SG (he was first yr college and I was in 10th grade) back in the 1970's, I have always believed that the metallic finish really highlighted the sculpted appearance of the SG form. His was actually his older brother's, from the late 1960's, with the large guard.

The GT, and the superb photos, show the SG at its finest.

Congrats to all involved in an artful restoration with poetic license!!!

Tom, if you're going to the Fall Philly show this year, this guitar will most definitely be there, in case you'd like to check it out in person!

Cheers Frank! Beautifully done, my friend. She looks INCREDIBLE!

As fate would have it, I'm forced to move Charlie/Dave's original to deal with some less-than-ideal real life expenses --

In any case, glad to see the Goldtop SG inspired you to such creative heights. Simply fantastic craftsmanship! :) All the best with your great new SG/LP!

Thanks for the kind words, and best of luck to you on the sale of your beauty! Judging by the interest these guitars have generated, hopefully you won't have any difficulty selling yours. :salude

wow, that looks incredible.

when I saw CD's gold SG, I was smitten by it. I'd love to do something similar with a stop tail piece no vibrato. I'm surprised Gibson never offered the SG in gold since it looks so good in it.

That is amazing! I've never seen one like that and Gibson should reissue that! It's just one of the coolest guitars I've ever seen. Congrats to you!
