50s Lifton case repair

Does anyone know of someone who does Lifton case repairs? I have a case that could use some help.

You should post photos of the issue, so we know what / where / how severe your problem is.

I repaired mine, glued the plywood separations with 2 component epoxy glue. I held the seams together with non-intrusive pro. tape. Be patient, the glue actually takes 5-7 DAYS before completely hardened. Holds fine, the case is now again reliable to use.
The leather covering was peeling off in various places, fixed that with standard contact glue.

Case solved (pun intended) ;)

Sorry, for some reason I didn’t see any updates to this thread. I have to take some pictures, but my issues are mainly cosmetic with the covering peeling away or missing in some spots.

The brown wrapping/tolex isn't available to match the originals. You may find a Lifton for another Gibson that is same vintage to remove what you need, but you'll have 2 restorations then?

That's true! Probably not worth it.

Gord Miller sells Lifton case materials and does restorations.
