"The guitar was built as a replica of a 1953 Fender Telecaster"...

Memorabilia, in other words.
except for the fact that waylon actually utilized it for his work.

A stage-played and personally owned custom Fender Telecaster belonging to Waylon Jennings. The guitar was built as a replica of a 1953 Fender Telecaster, and was custom built in 1990 at the Fender Custom Shop by builder Michael Stevens. The guitar was custom built exactly to Waylon Jennings' specifications, including rolled edges on the fingerboard and neck to replicate one of Jennings' early Fender guitars. This guitar was originally equipped with vintage style tuners, but was changed to modern style tuners at Jennings' request.
