THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how it is going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Recently purchased a 2024 LP from Wildwood music. I was chatting with a friend who has the same issue that I do. We love the playability and tone so mine is staying with me. We both have a nut that looks capped. As if the top of the nut and slots are glued onto an existing nut. I recent changed my strings and couldn't pull my b string out of the nut that looks like the back of the b slot melted out toward the headsto
I'm considering building a 6G3 circuit. But before I do a friend has dropped a 2016 JTM45 off. He had up ratted cap's, choke OT - Choke. KT66. Sound and feel's nice enough to play. I can get crunch but needs to be loud. That said the bottom end is too flabby but the Rev Billy G early 70's tone I love. Been reading about Ted b mod too on here. Any magical thing I can do or would a 1987x be a better ?
