68 Les Paul Reissue

I am looking at several used Les Paul Customs, 68 Reissue. I am thinking I want something older instead of new.
This is my first Les Paul. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Neck Style, Pickups, years, etc.

Historic District is where you wanna be if asking about RI's, maybe a mod will move it for you if you ask nice?

Why not to search after original early 70s Custom instead? I once have had 68 Custom reissue and most early 70s Norlins i ever had smoked it away tonewise.
