There's a reason why it looks that way.

Billy Gibbons has a guitar that incorporates an iPad. Specifically, he unveiled a custom Telecaster-inspired guitar with a built-in iPad Mini during a performance with his pre-ZZ Top band, the Moving Sidewalks, in 2013. This innovative guitar was designed to mimic the psychedelic light shows of the 1960s by displaying visual effects on the iPad during performances.
