I'm soon going to try some of the pot & cap mods mentioned on the site here but I'm confused as to what size capacitors will work. I know that the values should be .15-.22/630VDC but they come in all sizes from 1 inch down to just a few mm.

What size works in LPs?

You'd better check your cap values. That should be .022uf or .015uf.

The bigger the cap the higher the voltage value. Your guitar only outputs about 200mv (millivolts) so just about any size will work as long as it fits in the control cavity.

ToneToDaBone, that was just a typo on my part - I really meant to put .015 & .022uf. I got that from all the threads on the topic here. I just didn't know how big or how small.

I guess the smaller the better to make sure it will fit in the cavity?

Oh, and how many caps do I need?
