What's up with no one posting a guitar for sale in the classifeds for a week, now? Are they going up in value, becoming rare, or are we all content? :eek

I don't know, I may have to sell some soon. What does the price going up have to do with no guitars being posted for sale? Enquiring minds want to know :lol1

Interesting business logic. :lol1

(The Classifieds - postings - are now closed to non-members.)

cool avatar, what is it?

It's a vintage Leinenkugel beer clock that's for sale, but I can't (won't) afford it at $900...so I own the picture )sorta

Really the price going up has (may have?) nothing to do with no Les Pauls being posted for sale....I just think it "interesting" that none have been posted since "the change"

Actually, now that I am done buying for a while I wouldn't mind seeing them go up in value. Then I could talk about the days when LP's were only $1800 out the door! Just like my parents walking to school in blizzards in -20 degrees barefoot without food for three days.

Hey Chef

I've noticed the same thing as I'm checking them daily. Sometimes hourly. I just missed out on a couple of good buys and I'd rather buy from an LPF member than someone I had no other contact with. Time to start calling the Forum dealers.

I had been thinking about selling another one of mine, but Gibson has nothing left to offer me as far as I can see, (the BOTB replicas are close, but close enough for me) and I'm afraid if I sold it, I'd not find anything better or even as cool...Maybe I'm not the only that feels that way these days.
