She's purty! How do the small HB's sound in that now that it is old? As I recall I really liked them way back when but couldn't afford one.

I'm a little biased on mini-hums, for good reason. It's home to me.

They are very articulate, to the point of unforgiving.

I know it's been abused, but, the reference to a " Tele on steroids " is actually pretty accurate.

The tone knobs/pots are your greatest asset.

I can dial in anything I need at any given time, but only from experience.

In case you're wondering, the new ones sound nothing like mine. IDKW ?

If you ever get a chance, grab a vintage Deluxe, slap on the neck pickup, and give it H*** thru a clean tube amp.

I kid you not, BREATHTAKING !

Peace be with you, Walt.

Welcome !

What a great guitar, loads of Mojo as it should be. Brilliant lacquer checking all over the back, love it.

Does it have a large beefy neck?

Does it have a large beefy neck ?

I have to buy extra large mens gloves, so finding a comfortable guitar neck is impossible !

It is one of the reasons this guitar is my favorite, large C shape all the way up.

Interesting side note; I have never needed to adjust the truss rod ! 30 years ! Amazing ?

I've leveled and dressed the frets twice. I use Dr. Stringfellows on every string change. Wipe on / Wipe off ( Danielson ):hee

I hear you. My '69 Deluxe has never needed a truss rod adjustment. It had its first fret dress recently.
