The late 60's Tele's with the "modern" wiring and 1 meg pots are "twangier " IMO than the older wiring ones with the 250k pots. The bridge pu on this one is pretty savage! That’s super cool. Congratulations!
How are the pickups compared to, say a 64?
Yes! At first I didn't realize Fender did that, but it makes sense since they used the pearloid side for the Thinline Tele pick guards. That's awesome! Bonus to find the pearloid layer on the bottom of the guard! Way too cool
It's virtually mint and untouched. Special order for sure...Nice rosewood slab. Looks to be in great shape overall. Sweet
All the vintage stuff that comes my way is beat to shit.
far out, I never realized that Fender put 1 Meg pots in any Telecaster! The late 60's Tele's with the "modern" wiring and 1 meg pots are "twangier " IMO than the older wiring ones with the 250k pots. The bridge pu on this one is pretty savage!
I agree! It's a great look with the custom sunburst.far out, I never realized that Fender put 1 Meg pots in any Telecaster!
One of the coolest Tele’s I’ve ever seen for sure.
Fender ought to do more black headstocks ?
