Neil Young Zuma was never my favorite album.

But this one track was.

And even better live.

Have mercy.

One album??............it's like asking a kid how many lollies do you like...........or want.
So I embark on a journey of 'what's my desert island music'.............and the answer is Gaucho.........the Fagan and Becker classic.

Absolutely brilliant album Steve, a sophisticated melodic masterpiece. :salude

There are so many of my favorites already listed here. Which isn't surprising, I guess.

I have kind of a "holy grouping" that includes Led Zeppelin II, Abby Road, Are You Experienced, Let It Bleed, Disraili Gears, Allman Bros 1st, Doors 1st and Kiss Alive!

But one album I haven't seen mentioned yet that may be my all time favorite if I considered it's impact on my life and music, and how much I listened to it as a kid and through the years would be.....

....and already I start thinking: what about

Holy Diver, Jailbreak, Back in Black, Talk Is Cheap, Two Steps From The Move, Slide It In, Damn The Torpedoes, Purple Rain, Fair Warning, Couldn't Stand The Weather, Catch a Fire, Joshua Tree, Pyromania, Teaser.....

....and then, as more and more albums come into my mind, my chill bumps keep rising and I feel grateful to the
powers that be for the great music and what it's done for me!! I mean that with all sincerity.

HI! I'm new!

There are so many, but the album that i have probably listened to the most in my life is Abraxas, Santana's 2d album. bought it when i was 13 years old and have never gotten tired of it at all. i'm still delighted and transported when i hear BMW/GQ on the radio. the whole album is in my DNA.

Guitar Player just had a big article on Abraxas. Turns out he used a gorgeous 1968 LP Custom for most of the record, played through Twins. them was some sweet sounding twins!

“Meet the Beatles”. I was 9 years old and had been listening to Alvin & the Chipmunks exclusively until the Beatles came along....the Chipmunks never made girls go wild like that which I took note of and made the switch! I’ll love that record forever

The correct answer is Dark Side of the Moon.

But my personal favorite is probably "Led Zeppelin"

Not really a "guitar" album but The Band- The Band ( brown album)

those songs changed my life, its the most "important" music i have ever found and it found me at a time when i was trying to be a GUITAR HERO, in the local scene and in my own mind.

I never leave the house without that on my phone/ipod/cd any medium its always at my finger tips. just a sublime album
