• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

A continuation of the Gibson brand being only on USA-made instruments.

Fewer model variations. I find it confusing to keep up.

More Garage stores.

I think the new team is doing a fantastic job. I've gotten two US production models - a Special and a Theodore, and couldn't be happier with them.

We are going to get a trickle of remade 'archive' releases. Mat said this outright.

A single cut ES-335 that is balanced on the shoulder with a strap like a Les Paul. Ie, not headstock heavy.

I don’t want to have to hold up the headstock with my left hand while playing any guitar.
Just saying, a Well-Hung custom strap will do this. No slippage. Fantastic straps, a whole range custom, padded. Check em out on Reverb. I have like 7 or 8.

I would like Gibson to build a guitar like an EMS 1235...but with just a straight up 6-string side, not a double neck. But use the same type of construction--completely hollow with a thick, carved spruce top and so on.
